How to completely reset my account

I want to delete all of my Heptabase data and start fresh. How can I do it?

Please go to the sidebar and click Heptabase > Settings > Backup & Sync > Deactivate Sync to remove all your data from the cloud.

Then, please fully close Heptabase and delete the folders located at the following addresses based on your operating system. After that, open Heptabase and refresh.

  • Windows: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\project-meta
  • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/project-meta
  • Linux: ~/.config/project-meta

This should remove all your data locally as well. After doing that, please go to the sidebar again and click Heptabase > Settings > Backup & Sync > Activate Cloud Sync to ensure your data is synced again.
