We launched our first affiliate program in late September. Here are some frequently asked questions and answers:
What's the purpose of the affiliate program?
We aim to collaborate with existing creators to create educational content about Heptabase and promote it to new and existing users.
What do you offer to affiliate partners?
We offer a lifetime commission of 20% as an incentive to encourage creators to continue investing in and producing high-quality content related to Heptabase.
- For example, if you invite a user who subscribes to our monthly plan, you will earn approximately $2.4 per month. If the user subscribes to our yearly plan, you will earn approximately $21.6 once the user completes the payment.
- If you have 100 users who consistently use Heptabase for 5 years, you will earn approximately $10,800 over that period.
We can showcase your content in our bi-weekly newsletters and on our social channels, such as Discord and Twitter.
Do you offer discounts for users who are referred by affiliate partners?
The unique aspect of this affiliate program is that we DO NOT offer additional discounts to users who are attracted through partners.
Instead, we aim to motivate users to use Heptabase by offering helpful content created by our partners. This content will help users understand the benefits of using Heptabase and how to use it effectively.
What kinds of partners do you aim to recruit?
We are looking for partners who have the following qualities:
- A pre-existing audience and exposure channels.
- Familiarity with Heptabase.
- An eagerness to consistently create and promote content.
If you already have an audience, we suggest you begin by sharing your experiences of using Heptabase and how it helps you achieve better work. From our experience, the more specific you are, the better your audience will understand the value of Heptabase and try it out.
If you don't have an audience yet, we recommend first creating content that focuses on comparisons between Heptabase and other products and explains why you prefer Heptabase. This type of content tends to be easily shared and discussed in communities and performs well in searches. Once you have built your audience, you can share more use cases on how you use Heptabase to achieve better results.

How do I apply to the program?
If you meet the above criteria and are interested in becoming our affiliate partner, please fill out the form below. After reviewing the application, if we find that you are a great fit, we will send you an invitation.
If you don't meet all of the criteria, you can still fill out the form. We will contact you when we are ready to work with more partners in different regions and platforms.
