Use case: Plan your trip within Heptabase
A few months ago, we shared a use case called "Plan a trip and write travel journals by Heptabase" with you. This time, we would like to share a similar use case with some different tips that you will enjoy.
This use case comes from a Discord user named Kat. She mentioned that she visited Chiang Mai and Bangkok two weeks ago and found Heptabase to be very useful for organizing her trip.
We found her approach very easy to understand, helpful, and also appealing for other travel partners! You can grasp the plan in just a minute!

Editor: Template
If you find yourself repeatedly using the same format in a card to make plans or reflect on your day, you can now easily save multiple blocks as a template and insert them by typing a slash (/) and the template name.
You can also access and edit your existing templates from the logo menu in the top-left corner or by using the Ctrl/Cmd + K command palette.
We hope you like this feature!
App: Image Card and Audio Card
You can now add images and audio files into your card library as cards!
You may notice that the media elements you have already imported did not appear in your card library. That's because we don't assume every video, audio, or image should be a card.
Instead, we recommend only adding those that are meaningful to you or that you think you will reuse in the future to your card library as cards. Then, you can mention or tag them just like note cards!
Card Library & Tag: Sort
Another quality of life feature is the ability to sort cards in your Card Library or in the Tag app. If you like to name your cards with prefixes or add number/date data to your properties, this feature may help you display your cards in your desired order more effectively!
