Recently, our user base has been growing very fast, and we introduced an in-app support system in September to keep up with all the support tickets. After a month of operation, many users have expressed satisfaction with the experience of providing feedback, making feature requests, and reporting bugs directly within Heptabase.

Use case - Plan a trip and write travel journals by Heptabase
In the previous newsletter, we introduced a use case on how to Use Heptabase to Plan Your Dream Adventures. This week, we want to move from dreams to reality by sharing a real-world trip planning use case from our power user, Waki. He planned a trip to Malaysia from scratch using Heptabase and wrote a travelogue using Heptabase during the journey.
We were amazed by what we saw. We never thought Heptabase could be used this way. Now, we are all eager to plan our next trip using Heptabase.

Whiteboard: Video & Audio Elements
Two weeks ago, we introduced image elements. This week, we added the ability to drag and drop videos and audios into Heptabase whiteboards. There will be more updates on multimedia integration, such as copy-pasting, turning into cards, and more. Stay tuned for updates!
Whiteboard: Focus Mode
If you frequently check our Roadmap updates, you may have noticed that the 'focus mode' feature was never included. However, one of our engineers, YZ, really wants to have this feature, so he created a demo and made a proposal during an internal meeting. After some minor adjustments, we released the feature.
When you enable focus mode, selecting a card will hide other objects on the screen, allowing you to concentrate solely on the selected card. You can also adjust the opacity of focus mode to suit your needs.
Our team has found the focus mode very useful during presentations. When you're in a meeting and want to screen share your whiteboard, focus mode + keyboard navigation can help your audience clearly see what you are currently discussing.

Mobile App: Card info and a bunch of updates
Over the past two weeks, we have continuously iterated and updated our mobile app. The card info section now includes backlinks, whiteboards, tags, and properties. Additionally, the mobile editor has a "turn into" feature to convert one block into another. You can also set the theme to system mode.
Moreover, you can now directly provide us with feedback, report bugs, and request features within the mobile app.
We believe that with the addition of more essential features and an improved whiteboard browsing experience, Heptabase's mobile app will become an indispensable part of your workflow.
Tip: Hold the spacebar to drag the whiteboard by using left button of the mouse
If you are new to Heptabase and haven't used any other whiteboard software before, it might take some time to become familiar with its features. Here's a handy tip: hold down the spacebar on your keyboard. When you do this, the cursor on the screen will change from an arrow to a small hand, and you can move the whiteboard by using the left mouse button.
