Dear Heptabase User,
Since we launched the PDF parser last month, many users have tried it and instantly fallen in love with the feature. A few days ago, our PDF parser went down for a short period due to high usage, but it's now back to normal. If you haven't tried it yet, just upload a PDF card, click the parse button, and start asking questions about its content using your own API keys with major AI models.
Support can chat permission for public link
In the latest version, you can enable "can chat" permissions for your public whiteboard — this means anyone will be able to chat with you through the whiteboard you published (for free).
PDF: Use "Shift + Click" or drag a box to select multiple parsed blocks
In the latest version, you can now Shift + Click or drag a box to select multiple parsed blocks in your PDF! This lets you ask AI questions based on the selected blocks and copy content to Markdown more easily.
Updates from the Heptabase Team:
We’ve recently started designing the Zotero integration feature and have posted a few poll questions on the #poll channel of our Discord server. If you’re interested in an official Heptabase-Zotero integration, feel free to share your feedback with us on Discord or through our in-app support!
We hope that these updates will improve your experience on Heptabase and make your learning easier and more enjoyable.
If you have any feedback or suggestions, or you want to share your use cases or contents related to Heptabase, please don't hesitate to chat with us through our in app support.
Stay tuned for future updates, and we hope you have a great day!
