In 2024, we shipped over 30 major versions, significantly improving sync speed, whiteboard performance, and mobile/tablet functionality. We also introduced countless features to help you learn and understand complex topics. Thank you for your support throughout the year!
We plan to launch collaboration features and mobile quick capture at the start of 2025, and we're developing many other features we think you'll love. We can't wait to bring you an even better Heptabase in the coming year!
Media Card : YouTube Transcript
In the latest version, you can add YouTube videos to your card library and import their captions into Heptabase. You can then generate insights from the transcript and convert them into cards.
This feature lets you quickly preview content by reading the AI-generated summary. You can then jump to specific parts of the video to watch and take notes. We believe this will significantly accelerate your learning process with YouTube content!
Tip: Unlike podcast transcription, importing YouTube captions won't count toward your monthly transcription usage limit, so feel free to import captions from long videos and generate insights!
Other product updates
We've recently implemented several quality-of-life updates:
- You can now view all your done tasks in bottom section of the Task app
- You can now log in to websites in the right sidebar of a card or a whiteboard. This means you can use ChatGPT, Claude, Gmail, and many other services right inside Heptabase!
